Posi Track Operators are essential for the smooth progress of construction projects, using their specialized skills to operate versatile tracked loaders. These operators will be responsible for tasks such as precision grading, loading and unloading materials, and ensuring optimal equipment performance. Candidates with prior experience in operating posi tracks and a solid understanding of construction site protocols will be highly desirable for this role.
Labourers are the backbone of any construction project, responsible for various tasks including material handling, site clean-up, and providing assistance to other team members as required. Global Turf is Melbourne-based, with a number of Golf Course, Sports Field, and Racecourse projects under construction, and we are continuing to expand our operations nationally.
Due to our continued success, and business growth, we are looking for experienced Construction Staff (full-time or part-time), Posi Track operators, Excavator operators, and laborers to join our team, working predominantly in the Melbourne Metro area.
These roles will work closely with the Management Team across multiple projects and will have the following responsibilities:
- You will receive on-the-job training surrounded by a great qualified team who will support you through each task
- Learn to operate the specialized equipment and other heavy equipment safely and appropriately, such as Excavators, Rollers, Skid Steers, Backhoes, and Tractors
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment, clean, lubricate, and refill as necessary
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment and other heavy equipment
Skills and Experience
It is essential that you possess the following skills and experience:
- Minimum 1 year in in Posi Track, Excavator, Front Dumper, or Water truck
- A current Victorian driver’s license
- Construction induction card
- Hands-on position
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- You must be flexible, adaptable, and reliable with a strong work ethic
