Applications are now being accepted for McMaster University in Canada’s Master of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering program.
Dr. Shakirudeen Salaudeen is currently seeking applications for a master’s student to do research on the conversion of biomass into high-value items at the McMaster University Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The study’s focus will be on how biochar is produced and used. A multidisciplinary team that supports multiple biomass conversion projects for bioenergy, biofuel, syngas, chemicals, and biomaterials will include the selected candidate as a team member.

Research Subjects
Waste valorization, production of renewable hydrogen, carbon sequestration and usage, biomass conversion, bioenergy and biofuel, and Sustainable Bioeconomy.
